Cicadas!
Billions of cicadas will soon appear across the Midwest and Southeast this spring as part of a historic double emergence of Broods XIII and XIX that hasn't taken place since 1803. They'll be hard to miss – covering trees, houses, and sidewalks and buzzing in unison for about six weeks.
